Is shaving unwanted eyebrow hair a good idea?

No, you should pluck unwanted eyebrow hair. Shaving isn't as good for several reasons.

  1. You can't be precise when shaving that area, and your brows will come out wrong.
  2. Shaved hair grows back in a couple of days. Plucking gives you weeks.
  3. Shaving causes skin irritation and ingrown hairs, which can lead to infection or even scarring.

Tweezers are relatively easy, and tweezing isn't terribly painful. You can be pretty precise, and you get a lot of free time before the hair regrows.
